P!ensa Young Leaders Meeting - Conversation: How can we agree? Challenges for our democracy

On September 26, Fundación P!ensa and Mutual de Seguros de Chile held the conversation “How can we agree? Challenges for our democracy”. This event took place at Chile’s National Congress Library, brought together more than 35 young leaders from the Valparaíso region, and included the participation of Senate President Juan Antonio Coloma, and senators Paulina Vodanovic and Luciano Cruz-Coke.

P!ensa Young Leaders Opens Applications

Fundación P!ensa, in alliance with Mutual de Seguros de Chile, opened the call for the 2023 edition of “P!ensa Young Leaders – Leaders for a better Valparaíso Region”, which recognizes those who promote transformations and are committed to local challenges.

Since the launch of this initiative, eight years ago, the foundation has awarded more than 130 members and, this year, the network is expected to continue growing, incorporating people from different disciplines who contribute to local development.

Talk "Decentralization and forms of State in the New Constitution Project"

On September 27, P!ensa executive director Juan Pablo Rodríguez, and director of studies Maximiliano Duarte gave a talk for the Latin American School of Social Market Economy of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, addressing the topics of decentralization and forms of state that are being discussed in the new constitution draft. The event was attended by 25 students from different Latin American countries and was held in the Fundación P!ensa auditorium.
