Founder of BuinZoo visits Fundación Dignidad Chile

On September 7, within the framework of the Citizen Training Academy activities, the founder of Buin Zoo, Ignacio Idalsoaga, visited the foundation’s headquarters. In front of an audience that included current and potential members of the Red de Jóvenes (Youth Network), the businessman recounted the history of the zoo, his experience as an entrepreneur, and the obstacles he has had to overcome to maintain his project.

Fundación Dignidad Chile signs new alliances

During September, as part of the foundation’s networking strategy, executive director Diego Martínez, accompanied by some members of the La Pintana Red de Jóvenes Líderes, met with the new youth board of the Municipality of La Pintana, an organization that seeks to create a volunteer group of young people who collaborate with improvement activities for the La Pintana community.

During the event, Fundación Dignidad took the opportunity to deliver practice facsimiles for the PAES at the community pre-university school.

More than 20,000 Pintaninos gathered at the Municipal Country Club to celebrate the traditional Fiesta Costumbrista. At the event, already in its third version, dozens of local entrepreneurs exhibited their products, and there were craft stands, traditional games, food and drink, among which the presence of Mapuche cuisine was especially notable.

The young members of the Network made their contribution, carrying out volunteer activities to care for children and giving away homemade cotton candy.

With more than 30 guests, Fundación Dignidad inaugurates its headquarters

Taking advantage of the National Holidays, the executive director of Fundación Dignidad Chile, Diego Martínez, accompanied by the young people who make up the network, inaugurated the Foundation’s headquarters. More than 30 collaborators and friends of the Foundation, including members of AthenaLab, Chile + Hoy and Fundación para el Progreso, among others, enjoyed a delicious barbecue and heartfelt and emotional speeches.


Located at Jacarandá 0171, La Pintana, the new headquarters has modern infrastructure, ideal as a workspace and for holding meetings, talks and training courses.
